At Unlocking Potential we are building a way of working which is child centred and which transforms life chances of children and young people.
This requires us to radically personalise the experience of each child. In order to do so we draw on two key strands: relational pedagogy and trauma responsiveness. These two strands weave together to create the DNA of our work.
The intentional and codified synergy of these strands is a crucial part of our strategy. This helps us to ensure that we continue to focus on the child and their progress beyond all else, and that we do not become siloed in our thinking or in our practice.
As the following graphic shows, key artefacts of our approach are shared by all colleagues and are developed in the same way regardless of role.
